If you would like to be involved in helping us save the Huntridge, please come to our first meeting this Saturday evening.  Here's the info from Josh Geidel, one of the organizers and Jack LeVine of VeryVintageVegas.com:

Hello all,

Well, I have been pleasantly surprised at all the momentum we have gathered thus far in our mounting-effort to Save the Huntridge!
It is a true testament to the solidarity and determination of Las Vegas’ residents to stand up for what they believe in
and mold a brighter future for all.

We are off to a great start… lets be sure we keep this momentum building!

I would like to invite us all to gather at my residence for a meeting of the minds.
At this meeting we will:
  *  Strategize plans for an organized preservation effort
   *  Group think positive alternatives for both short and long-term uses
    *  Pool resources, connections, perspectives and opinions
     *  Celebrate the significance that the Huntridge symbolizes to us all
      *  Meet other folks who share this common bond
**  We will also be “passing the hat” to gather funds for signs, posters, etc
So, please bring a couple of bucks if you have them to contribute.

We will be meeting on:
Saturday, March 8th, at 5:00pm
1200 Franklin Ave
The house is at the intersection of Franklin and Maryland.
The one with the “Huntridge” mural on it.

Refreshments, Pizza and other treats will be served.
Additionally, I encourage everyone to bring something to share if they like… your favorite beverage or dish or what have you… this is welcomed but not “mandatory”.

So, if you and anyone you know are interested in helping to save this nationally landmarked property we hope you will join us on Saturday evening.

We look forward to seeing you there!
